Enjoy shopping locally at The Avenue Shopping Centre and Greenlaw Village, or venture to Glasgow City Centre, just seven miles away – and easily accessible via train, bus or car.
Families who enjoy getting active and being outdoors will be spoilt for choice, with plenty of parkland and open space to enjoy walking, running and cycling, and leisure centres and sports facilities nearby.
Picturesque, historic Rouken Glen Park, with 143 acres of lush green space, offers walking and cycling trails, a play-park, skate-park and boating pond as well as a garden centre and café and Boathouse restaurant. With a calendar of events throughout the year and organised ranger activities, there’s plenty to do, less than three miles from Maidenhill.
Parklands Country Club, East Renfrewshire Golf Club and David Lloyd Glasgow Rouken Glen are close by, along with a variety of leisure amenities via East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure – including Eastwood Park Leisure and Eastwood High Sports Centre.
Within the new neighbourhood, a multi-use games area has been developed as part of the new primary school, but for the enjoyment of the wider community.
