CALA Homes (West) and Taylor Wimpey West Scotland have made a leap forward in the development of the brand new community with the release of the first homes for sale.

Maidenhill will see 834 new homes created in the affluent town of Newton Mearns, as well as a new primary school, surrounded by plenty of green space for families to enjoy.

Hazeldene Lea, the first phase of development by CALA Homes (West), offers 79 luxurious three, four and five bedrooms homes from its stunning new Light and Space range.

And homebuyers looking for the ultimate family home in the popular East Renfrewshire locale can now visit three stunning, newly-launched CALA showhomes to see the level of luxury on offer, which will be followed closely by the Taylor Wimpey showhomes in the coming weeks.

Taylor Wimpey West Scotland has released 106 new homes in its first phase at Westfield Gardens – a mix of three, four and five bedrooms homes located just off Ayr Road, ideal for first time buyers and growing families alike.

Liana Canavan, Sales and Marketing Director for CALA Homes (West), said: “Maidenhill is a very special development for CALA that not only marks our involvement in a significant new community for Newton Mearns, but also sees the fantastic new homes from our Light and Space Collection to a whole host of new homebuyers.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to launch three stunning showhomes, giving a glimpse into the aspirational lifestyle at Hazeldene Lea.”

Audrey Ross, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, added: “The response from homebuyers so far has been incredibly encouraging, with our team at Maidenhill welcoming a huge response and plenty of interest in the first homes released for sale within this brand new community.

“We are very much looking forward to launching our showhomes, however in the meantime, I would encourage those who are interested to pop into the sales suite to preview exactly what is on offer.”

Newton Mearns is one of Glasgow’s most sought-after towns, the location is ideal for families with children with the development close to a wide range of primary schools and high performing secondary schools.

Maidenhill also has superb transport links being only 12 miles the city centre, with local train stations at Patterton and Whitecraigs offering frequent services.

The showhomes at Hazeldene Lea are open daily from 11am to 5.30pm.
