Local school children in East Renfrewshire will be able to grow their gardening skills thanks to a spring-time donation from a consortium of local homebuilders.
The homebuilders behind the Maidenhill development in Newton Mearns – CALA Homes (West), Miller Homes West Scotland and Taylor Wimpey West Scotland – have donated children’s gardening equipment to Isobel Mair School.
Teacher Susan Calder took delivery of the donation – which included special gardening toolkits, bug hotels and colourful plant pots and seeds – on behalf of the school’s P1-P3 classes.
