Maidenhill marches on with more showhomes

The homebuilders behind the brand new East Renfrewshire community at Maidenhill have taken even more steps in bringing the neighbourhood to life.

Taylor Wimpey West Scotland has opened its doors to two stunning new showhomes, giving potential homebuyers a taste of what life could be like should they make the move to Maidenhill.

The opening of the four-bedroom Wallace and five-bedroom Stewart house types at Westfield Gardens, Maidenhill, come hot on the heels of the launch of three showhomes from CALA Homes (West).

And the new additions are already attracting plenty of positive reaction, as well as giving potential movers all the interiors inspiration they need – thanks to outstanding design details put in place by Suzanne Duncan of Scottish consultancy, Abercromby Duncan.

Westfield Gardens, the first phase of Taylor Wimpey West Scotland’s development in the sought-after town of Newton Mearns, will see 106 homes built, whilst CALA Homes (West) will offer 79 properties within its first phase, Hazeldene Lea.

Both are offering a range of outstanding three to five-bedroom homes perfect for first-time buyers and growing families alike.

The milestone marks yet another leap forward in the development of Maidenhill, which is already welcoming its first residents, and will see the new Maidenhill Primary School in the heart of the neighbourhood welcome pupils from August.

Audrey Ross, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, added: “We’re very proud to welcome homebuyers into our brand new showhomes – they look spectacular and we’ve had a great response so far from visitors.

“They give a real taste of what family life at Maidenhill could be like, along with plenty of inspiration and ideas on how to make any of our homes at Westfield Gardens truly individual. I would encourage anyone interested in making a move to pop in and see exactly what is on offer.”

Liana Canavan, Sales and Marketing Director for CALA Homes (West), said: “Maidenhill is really beginning to come to life, and all of the showhomes being open marks yet another milestone on what has already been a fantastic journey.

“The streets of Hazeldene Lea are really coming to life and we’ve started welcoming our first buyers into their brand new homes. All this together with the exceptional progress on the new primary school has all the hallmarks of a new community really coming together.”

Newton Mearns is one of Glasgow’s most sought-after towns, the location is ideal for families with children with the development close to a wide range of primary schools and high performing secondary schools.

Maidenhill also has superb transport links being only 12 miles from the city centre, with local train stations at Patterton and Whitecraigs offering frequent services.

Homes ranging from three-bedroom semi-detached to five-bedroom detached are available at Maidenhill, with prices starting from £320,000 for CALA’s Avon house type, and from £269,000 for Taylor Wimpey’s Chalmers house type. Both homebuilders are offering the option of part exchange and additional ways to help potential homebuyers make the move.
